The study was about Farm level adoption of organic farming in Mende sub county Wakiso district.. The specific objectives of the study included; to assess the effect of farm size on adoption of organic farming in Mende Sub County, Wakiso District, to examine organic farming practices adopted by farmers in Mende Sub County, Wakiso District and to assess constraints of adoption of organic farming in Mende Sub County, Wakiso District. The research used a descriptive design where both qualitative and quantitative approaches to data collection were applied. A sample of 112 respondents was targeted to participate in the study. The researcher used open and closed questionnaires as well as interviews to capture data. The study found that there is a strong relationship between the farm size and the level organic farming adoption. The study also concluded that there is a weak positive relationship between the education background of a respondent and the level of organic a farming adoption. This implied that the higher the level of education the higher the adoption level. Study findings showed that there is a negative relationship between age of respondents and the level of organic farming adoption. This implies that an increase in the increase of Age leads to decrease in organic farming adoption level. The findings of the study showed that the most adopted organic a farming practices adopted was using organic fertilizers. The study findings revealed that the most abundant factor constraining adoption of organic farming was inadequate extension services. I would therefore front for the availing of more extension services and support to farmers by the Government so that farmers can adopt organic farming. The government should also help to put up reliable and sustainable land reforms. These reforms should however, aim at making it easy to acquire land so as to boost productivity.
