This report documents my industrial training program at Stratcom Communications & Computer Solutions Ltd, where I worked from June 7th 2025. The main objective is to translate classroom based theories of information technology and computer science into hands-on practical experience. Section one, contains details of the profile of Stratcom, whose mission is to bridge a lack of hands-on skills gap among Computing and Engineering students in Uganda. Section two includes details of the student’s experiences; the position occupied, the duties and responsibilities such software installations, hardware troubleshooting. The intern had a great relationship with the field supervisor characterized by independent working, trust, time management, feedback and support. Although he was just a student, the intern was permitted an equitable level of authority at the workplace.
